I was inspired to sculpt a pair of pied wagtails by observing the urban roost that gather together in the trees on Parliament Street in York city centre throughout the winter. This is the female.
Each sculpture is mounted on a plinth of English elm 9cm x 9cm x 3cm, making the overall height of this sculpture 10.5cm.
My limited edition bronze sculptures are cast individually or in very small numbers at a time. The photos show typical patination and colouring.
