This salamander is cast in solid bronze, then polished, lacquered and waxed so it won't tarnish. The sculpture is about 12 cm long and stands 2.5 cm high.
I'm currently sculpting salamanders in two poses, the photo with the coins gives you an idea of size and how the pair look together. There is some variation in the colouring, the photos show typical results.
